About the event
Join us for the Cromwell Half Marathon, 10km, and Teams Relay on Saturday, 11th October 2025. Experience a scenic course along the Lake Dunstan Cycle Trail, stretching from Alpha Street Reserve to Pisa Moorings and return, whilst soaking up the stunning views of the rugged Central Otago's landscapes.
Registrations open 15th April.

Online Registrations Close: 8pm, Thursday, 9th October 2025
Race Pack Pick-Up: Friday, 10th October, 5pm–7pm
Late Registrations: Limited entries available during race pack pick-up on Friday and on race day morning
Race Briefing: 9:45am, Saturday, 11th October
Event Start: 10:00am
Cut-Off Time: 1:00pm
Prize-Giving: 1:00pm

Half Marathon:
Adult Solo: $75
Adult Team: $150
Mixed Adult/Kids Team: $100
School Team: $10 per child
Late fees kick in from 1st October as follows:
Adult late entry - $95
Adult Team late entry - $180
Mixed Adult/Kids Team no late entry fee
There will be late entries online until 8pm THURSDAY 9th October. Between 5pm-7pm FRIDAY and 8-9.30am SATURDAY you can pick up your race packs at the Alpha Street Reserve Start/Finish area. Limited late entries may be available on Friday evening and Saturday morning at race number pick up.

Adult: $55
Junior: $25
Late fees kick in from 1st October as follows:
Adult late entry - $75
Junior late entry - $35
Late fees apply from 1st October. Race packs can be collected at the Alpha Street Reserve Start/Finish area during the specified times. The course is well-marked, with marshals at key points and aid stations approximately every 5km.
Teams Route:
Teams will be able to change runners at these dedicated positions:
Start to Freeway (on lake) (1.2 km from start)
Freeway (on lake) to bay past Matt Connell Wines (2.2 km from the last change point). 1 and 2 can be combined to make one 3.4 km run.
Bay past Aurum to 45th Parallel (3 km from last change point.)
45th Parallel to Footbridge at Pisa Moorings (2.4 km from the last change point)
Footbridge at Pisa Moorings to Turnaround and back (3.5 km from the last change point)
Footbridge at Pisa to 45th Parallel (2.4 km from the last change point)
45th Parallel to Bay past Matt Connell Wines (3 km from last change point)
Bay past Aurum to Freeway (on lake) (2.2 km from last change point) 8 and 9 can be combined to make one 3.4 km run
Freeway (on lake) to Finish (1.2 km from last change point)
