Your options range from thrill-seeking mountain bike trails and cycling tracks, all-season walking and hiking tracks, gripping rides in a race car, helicopter or jet boat, just to name a few. Guided tours really add value to the experience and are highly recommended.

Cromwell’s central location makes it an excellent base for exploring the wider Central Otago area, allowing for easy day trips to nearby towns such as Queenstown, Arrowtown, Wanaka and Clyde.

Make it a weekend trip and spend every waking moment of your weekend doing something spectacular – travel, be active, eat good food and drink good wine – and on Monday morning you’ll be looking back feeling like you’ve had a mini-holiday!
