Stewart Town Vineyard
When Bannockburn wife and husband Kerry Stainton-Herbert and Doug Herbert first stood on their rabbit and briar infested plot overlooking the historic ruins of the once flourishing Stewart Town gold mining settlement, they knew the land would produce fabulous Pinot Noir.
The rest, as they say, is history, but of a different kind.
Both vintner and winemakers need time to understand the terroir of this small, but unique vineyard.
That was the start and The Bounder Pinot Noir was born, first vintage 2014.
Grapes from this small boutique vineyard were harvested and Winemakers Grant Taylor and Jen Parr created a very special wine for you to enjoy.
